Hilton Vet Hospital is well known, trusted and a well loved animal health care facility for more than 40 years, where the dedicated, heart warming veterinary staff provide top quality service with up to date, cutting edge equipment and knowledge.
Dr Heinrich was born and raised in South Africa and developed a love for pets, wildlife and nature from an early age. He got happily married to his beautiful wife Cathy in 1991, the year before graduating with a veterinary degree from Onderstepoort, University of Pretoria in 1992.
With his passion for wildlife, Heinrich did an Honours degree in Wildlife Management in 1993 where he was involved with projects on game capture in various game parks in South Africa.
Dr Heinrich has a keen interest in orthopaedic surgeries like cruciate repairs and patella luxations. He loves to treat medical conditions like skin and endocrine diseases and also provide chemotherapy options for cancer patients. He has a special interest in birds and exotic pets.
Over the years Dr Heinrich has treated a variety of birds from eagles to parrots and canaries. In support of Native Arc, Dr Heinrich loves to provide veterinary care to our wildlife.
Dr Heinrich is the owner of Izzy an adopted Greyhound, two Italian greyhounds named Maya and Daisy, and his two rescue parrots Pinkie and Koekoes.
His usual days with us are Mondays Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays.
Dr. Javier was born in Colombia, South America, where he completed his veterinary studies in 2008. Initially starting his career in the pharmaceutical industry, his passion for the countryside got him involved with large animals. This lead Dr Javier to work in food production, where he developed his passion for reproduction.
Looking for a new experience and career development, and satisfying his desire to learn a second language, Dr Javier moved to Australia in 2011. He has been working with small animals since 2013, which he loves. He is passionate about both surgery and medicine, where he enjoys working through challenging cases. He also enjoys teaching & training our nursing team.
In his free time Dr Javier likes reading all his textbooks, good literature, riding his bike and playing soccer with friends. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Viviana, and their cat Minnie.
Dr Neeta grew up here in Perth and graduated from Murdoch university in 1999. Her first job was in mixed small animal/equine practice in Kalgoorlie where a 2 year stint turned into 7 years. She met and married her husband Ben there and eventually moved back to Perth in 2007. She has been working in small animal practice ever since. Dr Neeta has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and has a soft spot for working dogs. She has 2 daughters and they spend most weekends at their citrus orchard in Bindoon. Dr Neeta enjoys the outdoors and loves watching her footy!
